Which of The “November 9” Will Win the Main Event?

The final table of this years World Series of Poker Main Event is set. The 9 finalists are affectionately known as the “November 9”. The Main Event was stopped on July 15th when the Deam Hamrick was eliminated in tenth place and the final nine players will take a break of about 3 months before the winner is crowned.

This final table is made up of players from all over the world including; Canadians, Danes, Russians and Americans. This truly is the World Series of Poker. The leader of the pack is a salesman names Dennis Phillips who will start the final table with $26,295,00. That is almost $2 Million ahead of his nearest competitor Ivan Demidov who will start with $24,400,000 in chips. Here is a breakdown of the remaining 7 players:

Scott Montgomery – $19,690,000
Peter Eastgate – $18,375,000
Ylon Schwartz – $12,525,000
Darus Suharto – $12,520,000
Chino Rheem – $10,230,000
Craig Marquis – $10,210,000
Kelly Kim – $2,620,000

Going by the video interviews after the final table was set, I would have to say that Dennis was the coolest and seemed determined to win it all. However, with so much time between the whittling down of players to the final 9 and the continuation of play, you can bet that most if not all of these players will be getting some serious coaching. This should make for a fantastic finish to this years biggest poker tournament.

You can watch all of the interviews and decide who you will pull for when the final table finally starts in November by visiting the official WSOP website.
