Nicosia, Cyprus (PRWEB) June 25, 2008 – This weekend, football won’t be the only game generating a buzz throughout Europe. On June 28 at 15:00 ET, RummyRoyal launches its most exciting tournament yet to kick off the Euro 2008 Final. The site will host a two-day, action-packed tournament that Rummy and football lovers won’t want to miss.

In less than a year, Rummyroyal has become one of the fastest-growing and most popular online gaming sites. The site made history as the first multi-player Gin Rummy website, and currently offers Gin Rummy, Oklahoma Gin, Kalooki, traditional Rummy games, and a number of regularly scheduled tournaments. Registered players love the unique, fun and high-quality experience the site provides, as well as the exciting prizes and promotions the site offers. The upcoming $4000 Kalooki 51 Tournament is just one example of the many exciting events the website hosts for its players.

Kalooki is one of the most popular games offered on the RummyRoyal website. Also referred to as Kaluki or Kalookie, the game combines the use of wild cards (Jokers) to add more fun and excitement. One of several classic, skill-based Rummy games, Kalooki has been a longtime favorite in the United Kingdom and North America, and is gaining popularity in other regions across the globe.

This week, players can register for the site’s upcoming $4000 Kalooki 51 Tournament by logging on to the RummyRoyal website, visiting the main lobby, and clicking on the Multi Tourney tab. Players will then click twice on the $4000 Guaranteed tournament and then click on the red ‘Register’ button once inside the tournament lobby.

The excitement has been building all month as the site has been buzzing with nonstop tournament action. 24 tournaments have led up to the $4000 Kalooki 51 tournament, and winners from the quarterfinal and semifinal tournaments will be awarded free seats at the grand prize event on June 28.

This summer promises to be an exciting and unforgettable season for RummyRoyal fans. To learn more about RummyRoyal and other scheduled tournaments, visit www.rummyroyal.com. A full schedule of all upcoming tournaments and an online Kalooki demo are available on the website.

Thursday, June 26th, 2008

We have another 2008 World Series of Poker update. With 41 events in the book as of today, the WSOP has awarded over $86 Million in total prize money. Today also marks the start of one of the most prestigious tournaments of the year - the $50,000 buy-in World Championship H.O.R.S.E. event. Lucky Shot - My Favorite New Video Slot

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

I have been playing this new online slot game from Microgaming called Lucky Shot and I simply love it! I seem to get to both of the bonus games faster than other slots that I like to play and the bonus payouts are usually very good.

The theme of the game is golf and the graphics, sound and animations are hilarious. Just like in the Caddyshack movies, you encounter a lovable gopher that actually helps you win money in this game. You need three or more gopher symbols on adjacent reels to trigger the bonus game that is down right fun to play. You choose a bullseye and the golfer hits a shot towards your target. The ball promptly hits the poor gopher on the head and he sees stars while you see cash in your pocket. Great for you but not so good for the gopher as he will have a headache for a while.

There is another bonus game that is triggered when you align three or more golf cart symbols on adjacent reels. This bonus game consists of free spins and the winnings can add up fast. I always try out the new slot games as they are released each month and most do not capture my attention for very long. However, Lucky Shot is one that I will be playing for many years to come.
